Residential Certificate policy being tightened
Bermuda has an Economic Investment Residential Certificate policy, which enables people who invest at least $2.5M in property or local businesses to obtain a form of indefinite residency in Bermuda. This can also then lead to naturalisation as a BOTC and belonger status.
Yesterday, the Minister for Immigration, Jason Hayward, published a revised policy. This will require the following:
