The Minister has recently published an updated policy on people seeking permission to reside in Bermuda on an annual basis, without working.
This has been an option for a long time, the digital nomad policy was a re-brand of it, and I expect to see many digital nomads changing to permission to reside annually over the coming months.
The requirements for permission to reside have always been that people had to be able to show they had the means to support themselves, were of good character, and had valid health insurance. That has not really changed, but there is now a little more detail to it, which I shall explore here.
