Following a consultation period, new work permit policies have been published. I wrote something about the consultationand the proposals previously. I'll give some comments on the changes here, with a particular focus on what is of interest to work permit holders, rather than employers / administrators.
The changes will be of particular interest to anybody who is thinking of changing jobs at some point, or will have a work permit coming to an end without a renewal, as well as to people from countries where English is not a "native" language.
There is also an interesting element for husbands of naturalised BOT citizens...
